Crafted from high-quality leather, this design features a 3/4” strap woven around the heel, allowing you to adjust the fit to your preference for added comfort and stability. Like all ShoeBeeDo footwear, The Oak is built to last and can be re-soled over time, making it a long-term staple in your wardrobe.

For comfort and support, you can choose:
• Zero drop (flat) for a natural, grounded feel
• Or add a heel wedge for subtle lift and natural arch support

Each pair includes removable orthopedic foam insoles, with space to accommodate your own custom inserts if needed.

Fit & Sizing

Shoes are available in half sizes, and accommodations may be made for bunions, hammer toes, or other sensitive areas. (Additional charges may apply.)

To ensure the best possible fit, please send foot tracings and measurements when placing your order so we can verify sizing and make adjustments as needed.

How long do custom shoes take?

All shoes are made to order. Production time is typically 8–12 weeks from the time we receive your tracings.

How should I care for my leather shoes?

We recommend light cleaning and conditioning using Leather Balm, available in our shop and easy to add to your order.

If you already have leather care products, they are generally fine to use. Keep in mind that some products may darken the leather — Leather Balm is designed to maintain the original color.

Can my shoes be re-soled?

Yes. Your shoes can be re-soled by any qualified shoe repair professional.

We also offer re-soling services — feel free to contact us for current pricing.

What type of soles do you use?

We use Vibram soles for their durability and performance.

Available options:

• 4mm (1/8”) — thinnest and most flexible

• Pyramid Crepe (1/4”) — flexible with light cushion

• Woodstock (3/8”–1/2”) — more tread and added cushioning

How long will the shoes last?

With proper care, your shoes can last 15 years or more.

Are your shoes grounding shoes?

Our shoes feature leather uppers and midsoles.

The Pyramid Crepe sole is considered grounding.

We do not add copper grounding components.

What is a heel wedge?

A heel wedge is a thin layer of crepe (about 1/4”) placed between the leather midsole and the sole.

It provides:

• Additional heel cushioning

• A subtle lift that supports the natural arch

Are your shoes barefoot shoes?

Our shoes are designed with a natural foot shape and wide toe box.

All styles can be made:

• Zero drop (flat)

• Or with a slight 1/4” heel wedge for added support

The most flexible options are:

• 4mm Vibram

• Pyramid Crepe
