Leather Workshop Saturday, September 16, 9-11 a.m.

In this first workshop we will make a small leather bag~ big enough to hold a phone, some cash, etc. You can use it as a cosmetic bag, or organizer bag. Add a shoulder strap or wristlet strap. Add a decoration, or leave it plain. It's up to you! 

The leather will be pre-cut into the bag size. You will round edges; mark and punch holes for clasp and strap attachment; punch holes for stitching; hand stitch it together; and add a clasp.

There will be a choice of colors and bag clasp. All materials and instruction time are included in the cost of the workshop. 

Feel free to bring a non-greasy snack. Water will be provided. 

This is considered a beginner project and will be completed in one session. No experience necessary. 

** Important note about the space: It is in the basement, and there are 2 sets of stairs to access the Maker Space **

The ShoeBeeDo Maker Space is located at 6 Cabarrus Ave W, right near the parking deck. Look for the bright yellow door with the bee!
